On Sunday, August 23, 2026, Patricia’s of Holmdel and Best Restaurants NJ turned a

summer afternoon into an unforgettable celebration of Italian food, friendly competition, and

community.

The first annual Patricia’s x Best Restaurants NJ Meatball Eating Contest welcomed

contestants, local vendors, families, and spectators for an afternoon filled with excitement,

laughter, and more meatballs than anyone could count.

Guests gathered at Patricia’s ready to watch, cheer, and find out who could take on the ultimate meatball challenge.

The Competition Begins

Once the contestants took their seats, the energy quickly picked up.

Each competitor stepped up to the table prepared to eat as many of Patricia’s meatballs as

possible. As the numbers continued to climb, the crowd gathered closer, cheering on their

favorite contestants and waiting to see who would earn the first-ever championship title.

The competition was serious, but the atmosphere remained fun and welcoming. Contestants

supported one another, spectators brought plenty of encouragement, and the entire event

centered around one of the most recognizable dishes in Italian cuisine.

Dennis Claims the Meatball Crown

After an impressive performance, Dennis officially became the first Patricia’s Meatball

Eating Contest champion by eating an incredible 36 meatballs.

His final count earned him the title, the admiration of the crowd, and one of the most memorable moments of the afternoon.

Eating 36 meatballs is no small accomplishment, and Dennis set a high standard for anyone

hoping to challenge the reigning champion in the future.

Thirty-six meatballs later, Patricia’s officially had its first winner.

A Special Appearance by Angelina Pivarnick

The afternoon became even more exciting with a special appearance by Angelina Pivarnick

from MTV’s Jersey Shore.

Angelina joined the celebration, met with guests, took photos, and brought even more

personality and New Jersey energy to an already lively event.

Her appearance gave fans another memorable part of the afternoon as they enjoyed the

competition, food, vendors, and community atmosphere.

Vendors and the Community Bring the Event to Life

Although the eating contest was the main attraction, the afternoon was about much more than determining who could finish the most meatballs.

Local vendors helped make the day even more special, giving guests plenty to enjoy before and after the competition. Families, friends, and members of the community filled Patricia’s to

support the contestants and become part of the fun.

Some guests arrived to cheer on someone at the table, while others simply wanted to enjoy a

unique local event. Everyone contributed to the energy that made the first annual contest such a success.

A huge thank-you goes to every vendor who participated, each contestant who accepted the

challenge, and everyone who came out to watch, cheer, and celebrate.

Italian Food With a Family Feel

Patricia’s of Holmdel provided the perfect setting for an event built around food, family, and

community.

Known for its Italian cuisine, welcoming hospitality, and comfortable atmosphere, Patricia’s is

the kind of restaurant where guests can gather around the table and feel like part of the family.

That spirit could be felt throughout the entire Meatball Eating Contest. Whether someone was competing, supporting a friend, meeting Angelina, visiting the vendors, or simply enjoying the afternoon, everyone played a part in making the event memorable.

In Conclusion

The first annual Patricia’s of Holmdel x Best Restaurants NJ Meatball Eating Contest

delivered everything a great community event should: delicious Italian food, serious competition, local vendors, special guests, and a crowd that brought plenty of enthusiasm.

Congratulations once again to Dennis for earning the first championship title after eating an

incredible 36 meatballs. A special thank-you also goes to Angelina Pivarnick, every contestant, the participating vendors, and everyone who came out to support the event.

This may have been Patricia’s first meatball-eating contest, but after an afternoon like this, it

certainly will not be the last.

Stay hungry.
